The Environment Committee is responsible for maintaining street furniture, town signage and managing Norton Wood.

The committee meets every second month and aims to consult with residents in their different localities and to encourage the shared maintenance of well used and loved places around our town. The committee is delighted that people volunteer to maintain Bunting Hill Way and Norton Wood Orchard, and the town has a voluntary snow warden Peter Starkiss.

Cllr Mike Kelly has recently started up a Nailsworth Access Group to encourage the improvement of physical access around the town and use of services, in particular for disabled people, but also to raise the awareness of shared facilities.
